영국 사진작가 Nick Waplington의 초기작을 칭송하는 limited edition zine이다. 이미지들은 1979-1986년 사이에 촬영한것인데 이는 영국의 포스트 펑크 청춘들이 정치적으로 활동하고 데모가 폭동으로 변하던 마가렛 대처의 통치시절을 그리고 있다. 80년대 영국의 거친 흑백 사진들은 Waplington의 Surf Riot 시리즈들로 부터 밝게 채색되고 깊게 젖어들어있다. 1986년 Waplington은 스스로를 비키니 콘테스트 중 폭동이 일어났던 Huntington 해변가에서 발견했다. 햇빛에 그을린 젊은 청년들에 의해 창문들은 산산조각이 났고 경찰차와 구조요원의 트렁크는 불에 탔다.

A Good Man's Grave Is His Sabbath is an unbound limited edition zine of acclaimed British photographer Nick Waplington's earliest work. The images, taken between 1979 - 1986, depict the Thatcher years when British post-punk youth were politically active and the marches and protests would quickly turn into riots. Juxtaposed throughout the gritty black and white images of the UK in the 80's are brightly colored and deeply saturated pictures from Waplington's series Surf Riot. In 1986 Waplington found himself in Huntington Beach, CA at The OP Pro surf contest where, during a bikini contest, a riot broke out. Windows were smashed, police cars and lifeguard trucks lit on fire by tan young men in surf trunks.
